The power of the internet lets you purchase pretty much anything online, and this has sparked a new trend…
More and more clients approach me with a diamond or gemstone they bought online from an overseas supplier, asking me to craft a bespoke jewellery design that features their purchased stone.
Seeing that I still get to do what I love – creating top-quality custom-designed jewellery – I’m not entirely against this new practice.
Technology is continually presenting us with new solutions, and it is only natural to want to explore all your options when choosing a bespoke jewellery designer in Sydney. So, if a client can source a high-quality stone at a bargain price, I’m still thrilled to be able to bring their dream piece of jewellery to life using their gemstone.
Rather that, than purchasing a cheaply manufactured, low-quality ring from an overseas supplier and dealing with a host of potential problems.
Quality Manufacturing Guaranteed – Always
Jewellery has always been my passion and crafting any form of jewellery , including remodelling, is what makes me love my job. So, whether you provide your own stone, or I source it for yourself, rest assured that every piece of jewellery is crafted with the same love and passion.
The slight premium of a high-quality, custom-manufactured ring pairs nicely with your newly acquired stone. You’ll still walk away with a good deal, and at least you know your stone will be securely set with no risk of falling out!
Online Shopping Tips
Purchasing your gemstone or diamond online can be a risky affair with numerous pitfalls. But if you keep my advice in mind, you stand a much better chance of securing a quality stone and getting what you paid for.
Research, research, and research some more – and never buy the first gemstone or diamond that you come across. With endless information that is the internet, with only a little bit of research you’d be able to figure out if you’re making the right decision.
Firstly, familiarise yourself with what constitutes a good-quality stone and understand the various terminology used in describing gemstones and diamonds.

Secondly, do research on the website/seller that you are considering purchasing from. Search for any negative reviews or scam alerts before you make your final decision.
Lastly, please read the fine print on their policies. A gemstone/diamond is a big purchase, and the last thing you need is not to receive precisely what you bought, and not being able to return or exchange it.
